Dear Members and Pupils of the Selangor Bar,



The Selangor Bar Committee is aware of the ongoing backlog of appointments for pupils to collect the necessary documents at the Registry of Kuala Lumpur High Court.



Due to the overwhelming number of requests for appointments and unavoidable delays because of the Covid-19 pandemic, we have been informed that the Deputy Registrar at Kuala Lumpur High Court seeks the kind understanding and patience of affected pupils.



The Bahagian Kuasa-kuasa Khas (BKKK) has indicated that it will reply to all emails on a first-come, first-serve basis in accordance with the date of receipt by the Court to fix appointments. Appointments may be made via one of the following methods:



(a) Phone call to 03-62094488 / 03-62094476;

(b) Email to officer: faizulmahhussin@kehakiman.gov.my / hamelia@kehakiman.gov.my



At present, the appointments at the Registration/Service Counters are limited to forty (40) pupils per day within the following operating hours:



Monday to Thursday - 8:30am to 12:30pm

Friday - 8:30am to 12:00pm



BKKK has further indicated that for matters concerning Sijil Penampalan, appointment, and collection of documents required by BKKK, pupils are required to be present in-person to deal with such matters.
