Dear Members & Pupils of the Selangor Bar,


Please be informed that the Office of the Chief Registrar of the Federal Court of Malaysia had on 2nd December 2020 issued a media statement on "Pendengaran Kes Sivil dan Jenayah bagi Mahkamah Sesyen dan Majistret di Mahkamah Petaling Jaya, Ampang, Bangi dan Kajang bermula 18.1.2021”.


In order to avoid confusion and to assist Members of the Selangor Bar and the rest of the Malaysian Bar, in determining the territorial jurisdiction of the Sessions and Magistrates Courts in Selangor, the Selangor Bar Committee together with the Registrars of the Selangor State Courts have collaborated to prepare the Civil Courts Territorial Jurisdiction Guide  for all the Sessions and Magistrates Courts in Selangor(kindly click here).
